Refurbished with a 30 Day Limited Warranty, this is the perfect machine to take your Passenger and Truck tires down to 2” chips! It will process up to 750 P tires per hour, and up to 125 T tires per hour down to 2” chips. The shredder will be refurbished in our shop from top to bottom. The shredder will be torn down and any item that shows any signs of wear will be replaced with new parts. The knives will be rebuilt and hardened. This is going to be a split chamber machine. The first 2/3 of the cutting chamber will have 2” blades installed, and the other 1/3 of the cutting chamber will have 1 ½” blades installed. We will also install new cleaning fingers and rails. All of the bearings and seals will be replaced with new ones. All conveyors will be completely refurbished with new head and tail pulleys, new bearings, and new steel floors. All of the hoppers will be fabricated out of New Steel and reconfigured to meet the changes we will make in the conveyors. The unit will be powered by a Model 3406 CAT Diesel Motor that will drive (2) two Hydraulic Pumps that will in turn power several different several different Hydraulic Motors that run all the conveyors and equipment on the shredder. All these Hydraulic Pumps and motors will be refurbished by Pump-Recon out of Kansas City, MO. The system will have a Refurbished Trommel Screen classifier with brand new 2” screens in it. All this equipment will be mounted on a Single Drop Triple Axle Trailer so that it can be moved easily from one location to the next. We will put new tires on the trailer and make sure that the brakes and lights work properly. Finally, all equipment will be sandblasted, primered, and painted the color of your choice. It will take approximately 8 weeks to complete the work on this machine once we begin the task. This machine will work well for tire pile clean up projects as well as for landfill projects.
